Purvanshi’s works follow her modus operandi that capturing emotion is everything, something that remains still after an event or an incident in life. That is what inspires her pieces. The all - consuming power of emotion is what drives her to paint a particular subject, that transforms a banal scene to something more powerful with a tint of emotion. She strives to convey these responses through her compositions. The series displayed here talks about the destructive side of the five elements i.e. Water, Air, Earth, Fire and Space, of life which helps us breath let alone survive. It is as painful to see people dying around us as to watch a forest being eaten alive in the fire. In past few years, the severity of natural calamities has been increasing and pandemic has been a proven example. In the name of progress and development we have exploited these elements so therefore, she didn't wanted to patronise these elements by showing beautiful forest and river, giant mountains and wildlife but the real state of it. She aims to stir up these emotions in the viewer.
